On 5th March, 2023 Oheneba Dr. Lesley Akua Akyaa Opoku-Ware, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Russian Federation, paid a consular visit to Belgorod. She was accompanied by the Deputy Head of Mission, the Head of Chancery and the Head Consular.
In the framework of her visit H.E. Dr. Opoku-Ware met the Ghanaian community in Belgorod, as well as the representatives of Belgorod State National Research University and Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov to strengthen cooperation between Ghana and the above institutions.
During the meeting with the University authorities, H.E. presented some concerns raised by the Ghanaian students to be addressed by authorities from both universities. H.E. further assured the Ghanaian compatriots that the Embassy will be very active in resolving the obstacles and difficulties the latter faces.
