Entry visa application(s) are to be submitted to the Consular Section to be followed by an interview. It takes a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of ten (10) working days to process all visa requests. However an emergency visa application is permitted at an extra fee of 4000 rubles and may be issued on the same day of application.

Please note that an error on your application which results in an error in the issuing of your visa will invalidate your visa. You will be required to re-apply and pay the full charges for processing the new application. Applicants, who notice that they have made errors on their applications, must notify the Consular section via email of the error, before or after filling out a new application. Failure to do this may result in an error in the issuance of visa for which the cost will be charged to the applicant.

Visas, once issued, must be used within three months from the date of issue. Applicants are advised to plan their trips accordingly.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

FOR OBTAINING A GHANAIAN VISA

1. A duly completed visa application in English and in capital letters. Анкета в одном экземпляре, заполненная печатными буквами на английском языке

2. Passport should be valid for at least six months. Заграничный паспорт сроком действительности не менее шести месяцев

3. Three (3) colored photographs 3,5х4,5 attached to the application. Цветные фотографии размером 3,5х4,5 три (3) штуки, приложенные к анкете

4. Booking of flight ticket; copy of the original ticket must be submitted for the receipt of the visa. Бронь авиабилета; копия авиабилета должна быть предоставлена при получении визы

5. Booking of hotel for the whole period of the stay in Ghana. Бронь в гостинице на период посещения Ганы

6. Confirmation of employment (original) indicating position and salary details. Справка с места работы (оригинал) с указанием зарплаты, занимаемой должности

7. Proof of financial means: original statement of bank account or credit card for the last 3 months. Подтверждение наличия финансовых средств: выписки с банковского счета или кредитной карты за последние 3 месяца (оригиналы)

All the above-listed documents must be in English or with English translation.

BUSINESS VISA

1. Invitation from Ghana, confirming the purpose and duration of visit, place of stay (in the case of a hotel - booking for the whole period of stay in Ghana) in details Приглашение из Ганы, подтверждающие цель, место пребывания (в случае отеля - бронирование на весь период пребывания в Гане) и продолжительность поездки

2. Colored copy of the inviter’s passport Цветная копия паспорта подписавшего приглашение

3. For minors: birth certificate and consent of parents if they are not accompanied by them Both documents must be translated and certified at a Notary Office Для несовершеннолетних детей: свидетельство о рождении и согласие родителей, если дети едут без их сопровождения. The Consular Section receives passport applications on Mondays – Thursdays from 10hrs to 14hrs. Applicants are to note that making false statements for the purpose of acquiring a passport is an offence punishable by law.

Please note that applicants for Ghana passports must be Citizens of Ghana. They will be required to provide documentary evidence as proof of citizenship and will be interviewed. Applicants with Russian nationality must provide evidence that they are allowed to hold both nationalities.
