Honorable George Mireku-Duker (MP), deputy minister for Lands and Natural Resources attended this year’s Plenary Session of the Kimberly Process meeting in Moscow from 10th to 13th November 2021. During the Plenary Session the honorable deputy minister and his delegation were accompanied by H. E. Oheneba Dr. Lesley Akyaa Opoku-Ware and officials of the Ghana embassy in Moscow met with Rusal, the Russian Aluminum giant to discuss the interest of Rusal in the exploitation of Bauxite and Aluminum in Ghana through Valco. Among the deputy minister’s delegation were Mr. Peter Kofi Awuah, Technical Director of Mines, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources (MNLR) and Mr. Collins Anim Sackey, Director policy planning and Minerals Title, Minerals Commission.
